How to Use the GST Calculator
Our GST calculator helps you quickly calculate Goods and Services Tax for any amount. Here's how to use each feature:
1. Add GST to Amount
Use this when you have the pre-GST amount and want to find out the total including GST:
- Select "Add GST" calculation type
- Enter the amount before GST
- Select the applicable GST rate (5%, 12%, 18%, 28%, or enter a custom rate)
- Click "Calculate GST" to see the results
2. Remove GST from Amount
Use this when you have the total amount including GST and want to find out the pre-GST amount:
- Select "Remove GST" calculation type
- Enter the amount including GST
- Select the applicable GST rate
- Click "Calculate" to see the breakdown
3. Find GST Rate
Use this when you know both the pre-GST and post-GST amounts and want to find out the GST rate:
- Select "Find GST Rate" calculation type
- Enter the net amount (before GST)
- Enter the gross amount (including GST)
- Click "Find GST Rate" to see the calculated rate

GST Components
